Villager Aldabest has established an IRC chatroom for all residents of the PC Gamer Village to share. When residents can often be in disparate parts of the world and unable to hear each other in the game, the IRC channel is a useful tool in keeping in contact. It’s also fun!
There are two ways to join.
From inside Wurm Online
To join the PCG Village IRC channel from inside Wurm Online, follow these steps as explained by Aldabest on our forum:
1. Press the F1 key.
2. In the box that appears, type the following: irc isis.heavenlyplace.net
3. You will connect to the server. You will also automatically join the official #wurm channel. To get to the PCG channel, type the following into the irc box: ‘/join #PCGVillage’. It is not case sensitive.
4. Say hi! You can also close the F1 box, this isn’t needed.
From separate software
To join the IRC channel using a separate IRC client (most famously mIRC or ChatZilla, a Firefox plug-in), use the following steps:
1. Type this in any window: /server isis.heavenlyplace.net 6667
2. Once on that server, type: /join #PCGVillage
